About National Health Services Solutions

The National Health Services scheme is an initiative started by the Government of Malaysia that aims to provide a social health protection scheme to help the poor and needy overcome financial difficulties in the unexpected event of a critical illness.

The Takaful coverage is part of the Government of Malaysia's initiative to assist and facilitate those from the lower income group to resume a normal lifestyle despite the financial challenges arising from critical illnesses.

Bantuan Sara Hidup (BSH) Recipients
  1. Aged between 18 and 65 and their spouses;
  2. Single individuals aged between 40 and 65 and earning less than RM24,000 per annum;
  3. OKU individuals aged between 18 and 65 and earning less than RM24,000 per annum.
BSH recipients

A one-time RM8,000 cash payout upon diagnosis of one of the 45 Critical Illnesses.

RM50 daily hospitalisation income replacement up to RM700 per annum at any government, military or university hospitals.
